about me
Hey, I’m Annika.
Dance has been part of my life since I was a little girl. What started with ballet quickly grew into a passion for urban styles. After years of Hip-Hop and Dancehall, my journey eventually led me to Afro.
In 2022, I moved to the Netherlands, where I fully immersed myself in my training. For two years, I had the opportunity to train with WOA Academy and explore and deepen my knowledge of different Afro styles. This time inspired me, challenged me and shaped me a lot as a dancer.
My biggest inspiration comes from Afrohouse – a young street style from Angola that embodies energy, freedom and expression for me.
Dance is my favourite language. Guided by music, I turn emotions into movement and love creating moments that connect and move people – whether on stage, in the studio or simply dancing for myself.
